Sameh Ibrahim received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, in 2001 and 2005, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2009. From January 2010 to April 2011, he was with Marvell Semiconductor Inc., Santa Clara, CA, where he worked as a Senior Analog Design Engineer in the high-speed serial-links group. From May 2011 to December 2022, he worked for Vidatronic Inc., Austin, TX where he became the Senior Director of Engineering of the Cairo Design Center and a Technical Fellow. During his time with Vidatronic, he led a team of 30 engineers develop and tapeout multiple power-management and analog IPs in different technology nodes. Dr. Ibrahim is also a Professor of Electronics in the electronics and electrical communications engineering department of Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. Dr. Ibrahim is the chair of the IEEE solid-state society Egypt chapter. He has 10+ US patents and 50+ technical journal and conference articles.
